Katharine C. Parsons is a Senior Scientist at Manomet Center for Conservation Sciences. She received her Ph.D. from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey (1985). Previous research includes the reproductive and foraging ecology of long-legged wading birds along the Atlantic northeast corridor, and the ecotoxicology of aquatic birds utilizing estuarine wetlands. Terry L. Master is a Professor of Biology at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. He received his B.S. from Muhlenberg College in 1976, his M.S. from East Stroudsburg University in 1980 and his Ph.D. from Lehigh University in 1989. His research interests include ecological/behavioral aspects of mixed-species foraging aggregations, patch choice in foraging Snowy Egrets and the dynamics of salt-marshpool fish populations. Recently, he has begun studies on the breeding ecology and productivity of the Louisiana Waterthrush (Seiurus motacilla).
