About the Author(s)

Thomas Good received his M.S. from the University of New Hampshire in 1992 for a study of foraging patterns and behavior of Herring and Great Black-backed gulls in rocky intertidal zones in New England. While at the University of New Hampshire he also studied the breeding ecology of both gull species at colonies on Appledore Island, ME, in the Isles of Shoals. He will receive his Ph.D. in 1998 from the University of Kansas for a study of breeding ecology and behavior of Glaucous-winged Gulls, Western Gulls, and their hybrids in a hybrid zone along coastal Washington.
