Denver W. Holt is Founder and President of the Owl Research Institute (ORI). He is a field researcher interested in long term ecological studies of owls. David A. Wiggins earned degrees the University of Oklahoma (B.S., Zoology), Brock University (M.Sc., on parental roles of Common Terns), and Simon Fraser University (Ph. D., on quantitative ecology of Tree Swallows). He currently conducts research on avian conservation biology in western North America.
